Minor and Study Abroad

Year 3 · Semester 1 · 30 ECTS

Choose one 30 ECTS minor route. The official programme lists:

  • Business and Taxation (taught in Dutch).
  • E&BE.
  • Education Mathematics (taught in Dutch).
  • EOR, recommended for students planning the MSc Econometrics, Operations Research & Actuarial Studies or a similar programme.
  • Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
  • Study abroad (foreign minor).
  • A university minor, subject to the programme restrictions.

These are programme options, not seven courses to take together. The programme does not allow combining parts of different minors, and it excludes the university minor Entrepreneurship. Check the current minor catalogue for each route's individual courses; no unverified minor course list is reproduced here.

Study abroad

The programme coordinator must approve the foreign minor. Its courses must be postpropaedeutic and must not overlap with courses already taken in the BSc EOR. At most 15 ECTS may fall outside the programme's learning outcomes, including at most one course in the host university's language worth no more than 6 ECTS.

If at least 20 of the approved 30 ECTS are passed, the programme describes a substitution-request route using EOR minor or elective courses. With fewer than 20 ECTS, an entirely different minor is required. Read the official programme for the full conditions before arranging substitutions.

The Wiki does not yet provide minor course notes. Return to the Year 3 overview.
